About us
For over a decade, we have been actively involved in the modern and contemporary art market, representing artists, advising collectors, and participating in projects as a financial agent with extensive experience in the art world.
Rooted in Catalan heritage, shaped by Spanish spirit, guided by Swiss standards, and inspired by Italian creativity — a refined fusion of cultures and values dedicated to serving clients wherever they are.
Meet the founder
Jaume Torres is an entrepreneur in the alternative finance sector and collector with a singular vision: to build bridges between art, economics, and technology. Born in Barcelona in 1974 to an old family of merchants linked to the retail, he grew up on the streets of a vibrant and constantly evolving city. The cultural fervor of the 1992 Olympic Games marked his coming of age and the beginning of a life path guided by aesthetic sensibility, intellectual curiosity, and entrepreneurial drive.
An economist, business consultant, and art dealer by profession, Jaume has developed an international career in which art represents not only a passion but also a strategic tool for generating cultural and economic value. From his residence in Lugano, Switzerland, he has dedicated more than 25 years to promoting projects that integrate creativity, investment, and a global vision, with a strong presence in Europe and Asia.
As a collector, he has assembled a carefully curated selection of contemporary works that engage with the transformations of our time. As an advisor, he collaborates with artists, cultural institutions, and family offices, helping them navigate the intersection of the art market, alternative finance, and new technologies. His focus is particularly on emerging models of patronage, creation, and cultural ownership.
Anticipating long-term market trends, Jaume witnessed firsthand the arrival of the internet in Spain in 1995 with Infovía, the dot-com boom, and was a participant in the early days of e-commerce. Since 2009, he has focused his work on an in-depth study of new emerging markets linked to cryptocurrencies, financial technologies, quantum technologies, and artificial intelligence applied to the financial sector.
A pioneer in the launch of Europe's first regulated alternative investment fund (AIF) dedicated to modern American art back in 2012 (Selected by Deloitte Luxembourg's Art Finance department in 2014 and sold in 2015 to a family office owning a European private bank), he has been actively involved in the creation, capitalization, and management of several alternative investment funds. It maintains investments in real estate development, the private lending sector, and the technology sector through its holding company. He currently combines his business and consulting activities with his participation as an independent director on various boards of directors, from which he provides a cross-cutting perspective that combines innovation, heritage, and strategy.
